Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) is the use of assessment and intervention to develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities, or occupations, of individuals with any type of disorders/diagnoses. They provide intervention for fine motor and self help skills delays, decreased strength in upper body and hands, sensory processing difficulties, use of assistive devices/prosthesis for arms and hands, amongst others.

Speech Therapy is the use of assessment and intervention to help people who have speech problems, to learn to pronounce sounds, words, sentences correctly. Speech and language therapy is the care, support and treatment for children and adults who have communication difficulties.
